The Department of Education Services is responsible for the primary mandate of the Board and it's schools. The development and delivery of programs and related services that offer students the opportunity to "develop their potential and acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to contribute to a healthy society and a prosperous and sustainable economy" (Public Schools Program 1999-2000)
Human Resources is responsible for providing employment structures, services, and support to Chignecto-Central Regional School Board employees. Human Resources staff work with members of other departments to ensure employees have the resources they need to positively contribute to student learning
The Financial Services Department is responsible for providing essential support services in the areas of fiscal planning, budgeting, and financial management. The Financial Services Department provides leadership and support to the Board's mission and goals through the planned and prudent management of financial resources.
Operational Services is responsible for two main divisions. The Property Services Divisionis responsible for the maintenance and custodial care of approximately 100 buildings. The Pupil Transportation Division provides daily transportation to approximately 17,000 students across the Region.
